functionality improvements in Samsung's

next flagship

including that anticipated under the screen

for ages

let's see what we get in the upcoming

beast

rumors about the galaxy s22 smartphone

in terms of display properties we're

likely getting nearly flat screens yet

again

which is great since curved displays got

old very fast

sizes will likely remain similar to the

s21

s21 plus and s21 ultra

6.2-inch galaxy s22 6.7-inch galaxy

s 22 plus and a 6.8-inch galaxy s22

ultra will likely debut early next year

with these sizes, Samsung is mostly

covering a wide range of users

though those wanting an ultra-compact

the device will certainly remain forgotten

for yet another year in a row

thanks to Samsung's latest advances we

can expect displays with variable

refresh

the rate that intelligently switches between

the available levels

with power savings in mind both the

galaxy

s 21 and the s21 plus feature displays

that

can switch between 48 and 120 hertz

while the s21 ultra can do so all the

way down to 10 hertz

hopefully, all of next year's phones will

get the improved version of that

technology on deck for even greater

efficiency

the big question here is whether Samsung

will deliver in terms of

under-display camera there's been talk

of such cameras for a couple of years

and despite other manufacturers best

efforts

a worthwhile replacement of your regular

punch hole device hasn't come out yet

this could all change with the galaxy

s22 but

we'll remain cautious on that

talking about the camera there will

likely be triple cameras on the galaxy

s22 and s22 plus

while the galaxy s 22 ultras would

possibly retain the quad-camera setup

that utilizes dual telephoto cameras on

top of the white and

ultra-wide snappers we are all for that

as the dedicated 10x zoom on the

s21 ultra turned out to be an actual

a useful addition to the flagship's camera

here's the hope that this tech will

seep down to the lower tier

galaxy s22 and s22 plus early next year

but

we are a bit pessimistic there are

rumors of improved

8k video capture on the galaxy s22

series

which bodes well with the natural

evolution of camera technology

currently 8k video capture at up to 30

fps is possible so

it wouldn't be too outlandish to expect

8k

60 fps video capture on the galaxy s 22

series

moving on to the hardware Samsung will

likely never change its

dual chipset strategy and continue to

outfit its u.s

bound galaxies with Qualcomm chipset

while the rest of the world will get the

Exynos treatment

ram and storage numbers are unlikely to

disappoint

though don't count on the micro sd card

slot returning for good

the ship has sailed I think

announcing and releasing its flagship

smartphones in the February march window

mid-January announce judging from that

we can sort of assuming that the galaxy s

22 will most likely follow a similar

pattern

so we should expect January 2022

of the next flagship crop, it's too early

to speculate about the pricing of an

upcoming phone series

the galaxy s21 series arrived

with a

the slightly more affordable price tag in

comparison with the galaxy s20 series

but would that the same be true for the

galaxy s22

ultra if anything we expect the price

spread to vary between the 800 to 900

dollar

for the regular galaxy s22 one thousand

to eleven hundred dollars for the galaxy

s22 plus

and finally 1200 to 1400

for the galaxy s22 ultra while we wait

to hear more about the

improvements we'd like to see the

the company make in its next flagship series

micro sd this is a simple one and it's a

clear step down from Samsung as the

company has almost

always offered micro sd support in its

smartphones

for those unclear on the situation the

Samsung galaxy s 21 range

doesn't feature a micro-sd card slot

meaning you won't be able to expand the

storage

bought the 128-gigabyte Samsung galaxy

s21 ultra

you're stuck with that amount of storage

no matter how long you use the phone

this is the case with other brands such

as apple

but we preferred it when Samsung offered

the option to expand your storage

better storage options on the topic of

storage the galaxy s 22 range

should offer further storage options for

people to choose from

that's especially true if the company

does decide it doesn't want to offer

micro

sd card support again the galaxy s 21

for example

is just available in 128 gigabyte

and 256-gigabyte storage sizes

if you want more space you've got to opt

for the larger galaxy s21 ultra

range dropped in price compared to 2020

smartphones

and that's an admirable feat from the

drop even further in 2022

drop the price down any further than it

if the company continues to offer

slightly lower specs

then we're used to we'd like to see the

price drop

down further to reflect that now tell me
